Butter Naan


Naan is the Indian version of bread. It is a Indian flat bread. This dish usually known as roti naan , cooked using Indonesian spices, such as garlic with local taste and can be eaten with gravy or any vegetable. There is a huge variety of naans. Each and every north Indian restaurants will have lot of varieties of naan and trust me each and every version is lip-smacking.

  • 150 grams maida
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • ½ tsp salt
  • milk (accordinly)(To kneed the dough)
  • 1 tsp sooji
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder


  • 1)Make dough of all the above ingredients with milk and let the dough rest for 2 hours.
    2)Make a roti of it and cook on hot tawa or tandoor.
    3)Granish with fresh coriander leaves and kalonji and spread butter on it.
    4)Serve hot.
