Kadai Paneer is a popular paneer recipe,cooked with bell peppers and paneer in spicy masala's. It is one of the most popular paneer recipe. Its in the menu of all most all the indian restaurants as well the indian restaurants in foreign countries.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Whole red chillies
  • 7-8 Whole corainder seeds (sabut dhaniya)
  • 1 Onion (Dice cutting)
  • 1 Capsicum (Dice cutting)
  • 50 grams mawa
  • 50 grams paneer (grated)
  • 100 grams paneer (triangular shaped cutting)
  • salt (As per taste)
  • Red chilli powder (As per taste)
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp kitchen king masala
  • ½ lemon juice
  • fresh coriander leaves

FOR BROWN GRAVY

  • whole garam masala (Sabut garam masala)
  • 2 tsp Ginger, garlic , chilli (Paste)
  • 2 onion paste. (deep fry the onions and then in a mixer make its paste)
  • 4 Tomato (puree)
  • 4 tsp (8-10 kaju + 2 tsp of magajtali ) (grind them togather and make its paste)
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder (As per taste)
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp kitchen king masala
  • ½ tsp kasoori methi
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • METHOD FOR BROWN GRAVY;
    1)Take a non-stick pan, put 2 tsp of oil.
    2)Add whole garam masala's.
    3)Add onion paste, saute till its golden brown.
    4)Ginger, garlic and chilli paste, saute it.
    5)Add tomato puree, saute it till its water dries up and oil comes out.
    6)Now add kaju and magajtali paste and salt , red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, kitchen king masala, kasoori meethi and saute everything properly.
    7)Add some milk and cook for 7-8 minutes.

FOR MAIN GRAVY;

  • 1)Take a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp oil.
    2)Add whole dhania(sabut), whole red chillies, onion, capsicum, saute for 2 minutes.
    3)Add triangle shaped paneer, salt, red chilli, mix it and then brown gravy.(dont need to saute it beacuse the brown gravy is already cooked)
    4)Add mawa, grated paneer and some milk and then cover with lid for 2-3 minutes on slow flame and at the end put lemon juice.
    5)Ready to eat.
