Mexican Taco Shells
A taco is a traditional Mexican dish consisting of wheat tortilla topped with a filling. The tortilla is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand.
Ingredients
- Taco shells (ready available)
- 3-4 Big Tomatoes
- 2 Bowls Beans (rajma)(boiled)
- 2 Onions (finely chopped)
- 1 Big capsicum (finely chopped)
- Oregano (As per Taste)
- Chilli flakes (As per Taste)
- Salt (As per Taste)
- Red chilli powder (As per Taste)
- Cheese (For Garnishing)
Instructions
- Method for stuffing:1) Heat a non-stick pan.2) Add 2tsp oil, onions , capsicum, saute them for 2-3 mintues (dont saute too much, as it should be crunchy).3) Add tomato pury, saute till its water dries up.4) Add boiled beans, saute for 2-3 minutes.5) Add oregano, chilli flakes, salt, red chilli powder in it.6) Add little bit of water so that it becomes thick gravy.7) Now the gravy is ready.
- Serving:1) Fill the taco shel with the above stuffing.2) Garnish with grated cheese.3) Ready to eat
